Review: Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge line!

I’m naturally a ginger, but after 5 years of having the same hair colour, I decided it was time for something fun.  So, I bleached my hair and dyed it bright electric blue with some brown accents.  My hair was less than happy with me for this dramatic change, but with the help of Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge, it’s so much better now!

This new line from Garnier is amazing!  It contains superfruits goji berry, passion fruit and kiwi to actively replenish without heaviness, and the scent is really fresh and fruity. It’s definitely a gender neutral scent, and both my fiance and I use these and like how it smells.

The shampoo has tiny and awesome bursting microbeads, which work well to get any leftover product out of my hair and leaves it feeling really clean.  The texture of the microbeads took a bit of getting used to at first, but now I love it and look forward to the way my hair feels after using it!  There’s tons of lather with this, so you really only need to use a tiny bit.

The conditioner is everything that dried out and bleached hair needs.  My hair almost instantly slurps this stuff up, and after leaving it in for a minute or two, there’s very little to rinse out.  I don’t feel as though my hair is weighed down or heavy from residual product, and it’s a lot less dry and my curls/waves are a lot more pronounced.

As for the 1 Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment, it is my new Holy Grail hair product. It’s a crème-gel formula, which is new to me, but wow, it works well! Right after I bleached my hair, I rinsed the bleach out and immediately put this on my head.  Again, like the conditioner, my hair absorbed it almost instantly.  I left this on for almost an hour, and when I rinsed it out, oh my gods.  My hair was silky soft, and it was like I had never bleached it at all!  I’ve been using it once a week since then, and have only been leaving it on for a minute, and I have to say that yes, this definitely lives up to it’s claims.  I’m not having any issues with my hair feeling dry or fried, and it’s looking so much happier and healthier than it has been in ages.

This product is definitely worth investing in if you and your hair need more hydration in your life!
